And while many would argue that you have to travel to the Carolinas to taste the best pulled pork, we stumbled on a tasty three-ingredient recipe that gets the job done without the travel.

Using only pork loin, a bottle of root beer, some barbecue sauce, and a slow cooker, you can make your own sweet and delicious pulled pork.

To make for easy eating, combine the following ingredients into a mason jar for a BBQ parfait! Crazy….we know.

To make this delicious three-ingredient pulled pork, simply start with pork tenderloin, a bottle of your favorite root beer, and some barbecue sauce.

Place the pork into a slow cooker and pour the entire bottle of root beer over the meat.

Cover the slow cooker and set it on low for about 6 hours, or until the meat is tender.

After the meat has cooked completely, use a fork to the shred or “pull” the pork.
