To build this cool barbecue station start with a basic pine frame.
Some old wine boxes put to good use…
…by turning them into soft-close drawers underneath the table!
One of the leftover drawers used to craft a pull-out surface on the side of the table, perfect for preparing food.
Rough-cut granite slab for a customized prep surface.
The granite was cut to size, then positioned in the frame.
The opening for the Big Green Egg (aka “The Egg Hole”)
Next stain, sand, scrape, and paint to taste.
Several coats of satin Spar Urethane applied before installation of hardware.
Hooks, drawer pulls, and of course a mounted bottle opener added.
Pull-out work table surface, all sanded down, stained, and ready for use.
